The first tournament of the 2025 season was held on Otsego Lake on June 15. The day was cool and overcast, but fishing was outstanding. The team of James and Jimmy O'Brien took first place with 20.34 lb topped by a 5.44 lb lunker. Remarkably, all 26 teams brought in 5-fish limits, most with a mixture of largemouths and smallmouths, and all fish were alive when weighed. The average weight was an impressive 15.61 lb.

The next tournament will be on Canadarago Lake, June 29
Winners James and Jimmy O'Briend
Congratulations to Hunter and Lynn Baciuska, Susquehanna Bass Association Anglers of the Year, with a total of 143.72 lb for their best eight tournaments. In second place, Kevin McGibney was just 1.3 lb behind them. Hunter and Lynn had an outstanding year with two first place finishes (Mohawk River and Goodyear), a second place (Onondaga), and they were in the top half of the standings in each of the other tournaments. In addition, they weighed in 5-fish limits in all ten tournaments, and all 50 fish were released alive.
