The Susquehanna Bass Association is a bass club based in Oneonta, NY. We have approximately 70 members from across the central New York region. The club was formed in 1987, and fishes regular bass tournaments every week or two from June through the end of October. We fish in two-person teams, usually with a five-fish limit.

The Art and Nate VanSteenburg Memorial Classic was held on Otsego Lake, October 22-23. Most of the 21 teams caught good numbers of smallmouths, but very few largemouths. The team of Bo and Tom DeMarco brought in the biggest 5-fish limits both days, winning the tournament with a two-day total of 35.72 lb, including a 4.70 lb. smallie. See results and standings for more details.
