The Susquehanna Bass Association is a bass club based in Oneonta, NY. We have approximately 70 members from across the central New York region. The club was formed in 1987, and fishes regular bass tournaments every week or two from June through the end of October. We fish in two-person teams, usually with a five-fish limit.

The final club tournament of the year, the annual Art and Nate VanSteenburg Memorial Classic, was held on Otsego Lake, October 17 to 18. Twenty boats competed in the two-day event, and most anglers did well. The winning team of Tom and Bo DeMarco brought in a limit both days, weighing a total of 32.33 lb., including a smallmouth weighing 4.42 lb.
