The Susquehanna Bass Association is a bass club based in Oneonta, NY. We have approximately 70 members from across the central New York region. The club was formed in 1987, and fishes regular bass tournaments every week or two from June through the end of October. We fish in two-person teams, usually with a five-fish limit.

The tenth and final regular season tournament of the 2021 season was held on Goodyear Lake, October 3. Almost everyone caught fish, with 19 of the 21 boats weighing in a five-fish limit. Weights were very close, but Joe Bunzey (fishing alone) took first place with 10.43 lb. See results and standings for more details.
The last tournament of the year will be the Art and Nate VanSteenburg Memorial Classic, to be held on Otsego Lake, October 16 and 17, from 7 to 3 each day. Remember that you must have fished at least 6 regular season tournaments to qualify, and that the lake is "off limits" from the Monday before the tournament if you are going to fish. Entry fee is $120 per boat.
Congratulations to Jim O'Brien and Jim O'Brien, Jr., Susquehanna Bass Association Anglers of the Year. They had a total of 122.61 lb. (after dropping their lowest two weights). Their impressive season included three first place finishes. They also placed second once, third three times, and ended the three-season streak of Matt and Rich Ford (who came in second this year, only 10 lb. behind the O'Briens).
